We are seeking a R&D leader to spearhead the development and implementation of mathematical models of drug efficacy. These models will support the expansion of TumorScope to novel mechanisms of action utilized for individualized treatment planning.
The work will require the rare ability to distill complex mechanisms of action down to their simplest terms, cast them in mathematical form, and implement computational methods to model them. Above all, ideal candidates should be creative problem-solvers, with a willingness to try a range of approaches to tackle each new challenge.
Areas of interest should include pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, biochemical kinetics, and cancer-immune cell interactions.
The position will require you to design and drive projects and work closely with team members and pharmaceutical developers to model their drugs using early efficacy data, and analyze results from SimBioSys' TumorScope platform to provide insights for clinical trial optimization.
