SimBioSys is seeking a versatile Software Engineer/Developer with acute attention to detail to join our organization beginning immediately. In this position, you will be applying software engineering principles to build a functional tool for use by physicians. You will work within a diverse team (scientists, developers, physicians) to design and maintain TumorScope, an application stack that helps in the treatment of cancer patients. In the role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new features into TumorScope and underlying software components—both scientific and infrastructure—that comprise the application.
In the role, your work will span from front-end to back-end and everywhere in between. You’ll be expected to implement web services, scale code on AWS, develop web-based applications, and work on deployments in an agile fashion. Fostering your agile development, communication, test-driven design, and programming skills, this opportunity will provide you real-world experience solving problems, while allowing you to contribute to the fight against cancer.
