SimBioSys deploys a combination of biophysical modeling and artificial intelligence to enable precision medicine in Cancer Care. Our portfolio of software applications enable individualized cancer care, drug development, clinical trial optimization and comprehensive biomarker development.

We are seeking an independent and motivated Scientific Writer to work alongside our Research & Development teams. The candidate must be an effective proactive problem solver and collaborator with exceptional communication skills. This individual will have the opportunity to learn and write about our novel healthcare technology, key discoveries in cancer biology and treatments and have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of cancer patients through their work. The output from this role will range from publications in scientific journals, development of white papers, regulatory submissions, patient education materials, among others.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documents to submit to government and/or other regulatory bodies (FDA)
  • Papers for Scientific Journals to share results from research and clinical trials
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop technical documentation
  • Develop marketing materials and website content

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences or a similar field, or significant relevant scientific writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to work on multiple projects
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of clinical oncology and/or research.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize primary scientific/medical literature.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with documentation submission to FDA
  • Experience with/knowledge of genomics, bioinformatics and computational biology
  • Experience with website content design
